Blaze Mission Statement

 

 

The Blaze Organizations mission is to teach and administer high quality fundamentals and skills training. Also to work with an unprecedented level of  determination and intensity to strive to be the best at everything we do on the court, in the classroom, and in everyday life. This is done so by working to inspire our student athletes to not only set life goals, but understand how to achieve these goals. While along the way understanding and getting to know each individual to help guide them on a life path destined for success in life after high school basketball.

 

 

Blaze Coaching Philosophy

 

All coaching philosophies are the same in some ways however the key to successful coaching is about how you implement your ideas and present them to your players. The players must believe in the philosophies that are being instilled upon them. Since each player absorbs information differently the coach must learn who their players are and relate to them. All the coaches of the Blaze Organization have the same goal. Thats to improve our players athletic ability, teach them morals, values, and provide them with life skills that they will use through out their lives. In order to achieve our goals we will:

 

• Relate to the players, create individual and team goals and figuring out how each athlete retains, absorbs information and learns.

• Maintain consistency and structure which will allow the players to have a routine of constant discipline in their lives.

• Only accept academic success and provide the players with appropriate resources to help them succeed in school  

 

All Players will be taught:

 

• How to play ethical and fair

• How to maintain good fitness and nutrition

• How to achieve academic success

• To maintain a positive attitude

• High-quality values

• Great enthusiasm

• Self discipline

• How to be a role model and leader in the community on and off the basketball court
